SHIPWRIGHTS PRIZE

The winning painting by Laura Rouse - 'Beach Huts'

This competition was introduced this year and was open to young artists aged between 16 and 25.  The winner in this inaugural year was Laura Rouse with her painting 'Beach Huts' and the entries in general produced an interesting and varied collection of very accomplished work.

The prize is sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights

The initiative is supported by the National Maritime Museum Greenwich and by the National Maritime Museum (Cornwall)

The Royal Society of Marine Artists is a Registered Charity and a partner in Sea Vision
